Know the complex design of the skin

Ahead of taking steps to effectively nourish your skin in order to keep it glowing, you must be attentive enough to know that how your skin works. This is a fact that skin is accountable for various actions of the human body. These actions consist of temperature regulation, insulation, sensation, synthesis of vitamin D, etc.
To put it in simpler words it can be said that skin is an extremely important part of your body and you need to know about it properly in order to take care good care of it.
Your skin is designed in a complex way; it is composed of three separate and dissimilar layers: the epidermis, the dermis, and the hypodermis.
The epidermis is the outermost section of the skin and it is highly exposed to various damages. It is the part of the skin that is visible to us. The dermis is the second layer and it is present directly beneath the epidermis and is accountable for providing required nutrients to the epidermis. The inner most layer of the skin is called the hypodermis and it is accountable for keeping the other two layers firmly attached to the body.
Dr. Krupa Shankar says that most of the people are unaware of the fact that all the three layers are equally important and they just keep their focus on taking care of the outer layer of the skin that is the Epidermis. In order to keep your skin in its best form, you must follow an intensive skin care routine through which you would be able to nourish all the three layers equally.
